Rental terms and conditions

Definitions :        

Lessee : the customer who rents items from GMAX Rentals.

End users : the people who use the items rented by the customer of GMAX Rentals.

Leased items : any article supplied by GMAX Rentals to the customer.

Order documents : one or all of the following forms, including the purchase order, bill of delivery, invoice or special contractual agreement between GMAX Rentals and a customer.
  1. Rental fees for leased items are for a one-time use term, unless otherwise specified in writing on the order documents.

  2. The lessee agrees to give back all leased items and the containers used to carry these items after use. All damaged or missing items and containers will be charged to the lessee at their replacement price.

  3. Leased items and the containers supplied to carry these items are under the responsibility of the lessee from the moment they are delivered to the address shown on the order documents until the moment they are picked-up by GMAX Rentals after use.

  4. The lessee agrees to keep all leased items and the containers supplied to carry these items at the location shown on the order documents and not use these items at any other location.

  5. The lessee shall not under any circumstances replace or substitute any of the leased items by other items owned by another entity than GMAX Rentals. Items returned to GMAX Rentals which are not owned by GMAX Rentals will not be counted as part of the lessee’s initial order.

  6. GMAX Rentals may occasionally supply a slightly larger amount of items than the customer ordered, to simplify the order process. In that case, no additional charge will be invoiced to the customer. However, the customer is responsible for the total quantity received.

  7. GMAX Rentals will not be held responsible for the damages, accidents or injuries resulting in the direct or indirect use of the leased items by the lessee or the end users.

  8. The lessee agrees to pay the full rental price of the total order, even if some or all of these items are not used during the lease period.

  9. GMAX Rentals will charge 2% monthly interest, compounded monthly on all invoices which are more than 30 days past due.

  10. At its sole discretion, GMAX Rentals may decide not to rent any items to a customer that has past due invoices.
